Northern UNI is an education initiative by the  MAGICK Group in collaboration with SLIIT,  which is the largest non-state pvt degree awarding University in Sri Lanka. This partnership brings best-in-class IT and business programmes to Jaffna. Students of these programs are job-ready and have high placement numbers in their respective fields.

Dr. Saranya Jaikumar, one of the first doctorates in Educational Psychology in India, serves as the Director of Northern UNI India. A distinguished educational psychologist, Dr. Saranya has served as an Independent Expert for schools, colleges, the Ministry of Women and Child Development. She is a former member of the Tamil Nadu Commission for Protection of Child Rights and is widely acclaimed as a pioneer in raising awareness on the POCSO Act and children’s safety on digital media.

As a Consultant Educational Psychologist, Dr. Saranya specializes in child and adolescent psychology. She is also the Chief Mentor at Brand Ambassador for International Student Exchange Programmes, facilitating cross-cultural learning experiences.

An expert in child protection policies for international accreditation agencies, she has guided countless institutions as a visiting faculty. Dr. Saranya Jaikumar is a sought-after keynote speaker at national and international conferences, addressing critical topics in psychology.
