This programme provides students with the core knowledge necessary for a wide range of logistics and supply chain activities such as demand planning, purchasing, inventory control, material handling, product and service support, IT, transportation, distribution, warehousing and strategic supply chain management.
It focuses on the analysis, design, implementation, planning, control and improvement of manufacturing and service processes. The programme provides the theoretical/ conceptual base and analytical methods for making sound operational and strategic business decisions.
Graduates of this programme can pursue professional careers with manufacturers, distributors, transportation carriers, logistics service providers.
Minimum 3 āSā passes in G.C.E A/L (Sri Lanka) or Minimum 3 āDā passes in G.C.E A/L Cambridge or Edexcel (in any subject stream) in a single sitting and Pass the Aptitude Test conducted by Northern UNI.
