Our SLIIT Northern Uni School of Business students recently embarked on a remarkable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at Naniatheevu, showcasing their dedication to community development and social impact. This initiative, themed “Empowering Communities, One Island at a Time,” reflects the essence of our commitment to making a difference where it matters most.

Naniatheevu, an island rich in culture and history, was the perfect location for our students to channel their energies into meaningful change. They worked collaboratively with local communities, focusing on sustainable practices, education, and health awareness. Through workshops, hands-on activities, and resource distribution, they addressed some of the island’s most pressing needs, fostering an environment of growth and learning.

This CSR project wasn’t just about giving back; it was about building a brighter future for Naniatheevu. Our students’ enthusiasm, compassion, and innovative thinking have left a lasting impact, proving that small actions, when done collectively, can lead to significant change.
