Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
A Bachelor of Business Administration is an international qualification that develops broad business knowledge, ensuring you are a highly adaptive graduate ready to pivot to the needs of industry. Study our foundation units
In the first year of the Business degree program, you will explore core competencies in business, learn to use financial information to make informed and responsible decisions, and develop your business intelligence and analytical capabilities to interpret data in a meaningful way. You will complete management foundation units aligned to global trends, and develop skills across marketing, finance, human resources, project management and strategic management. You will graduate ready to meet the challenges of industry.
Develop expertise
In addition to the core units, you will study three specialisations during the course. The specialisation includes International Management, Digital Marketing and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. These give you the freedom to personalise your degree, and enhance your career choices and marketability in the international business arena.

Applicants for a Bachelor Degree are required to meet University academic and English language entry standards; details are provided at http://study.curtin.edu.au/ and include flexible entry pathways. Any specific course entry and completion requirements must also be met. All Curtin courses have compulsory and other core capabilities that are essential for demonstrating the achievement of course learning outcomes and graduation. Students who are unable to meet or demonstrate those requirements, now or in later stages during their studies, may seek reasonable adjustments by the University wherever possible to facilitate alternative ways of achieving those requirements. If reasonable adjustments cannot be accommodated, Curtin will discuss study options to find an alternative course of study or an exit degree. Credit reduces the amount of learning required to complete the course and may be granted for formal education qualifications, non-formal learning from non-award programs of study and informal learning through work experiences. Learning outcomes
Bachelor Degrees typically contain a series of units which may include compulsory (core), optional or elective units to cater for student preferences. They may contain a range of majors, streams and/or minors for students to choose from to pursue learning in a specialised area of study.
The course starts with a business foundation year, where students will explore value creation in business, learn to use financial information to make informed and responsible decisions, and develop business intelligence and analytical capabilities to interpret data in a meaningful way.
Students go on to complete management foundation units aligned to global trends and develop skills across marketing, finance, human resources, project management and strategic management. In addition to the business and management foundation, students study three career-focused specialisations (minors) that align with their career aspirations. Students have the flexibility to choose two business specialisations and can either take a third business specialisation or a specialisation from outside the business discipline. Students have freedom within the degree to build their career portfolio, developing breadth of knowledge across disciplines. This enables students to cross skill, and enhances marketability upon graduation.
All students will complete a capstone unit in the final year.

Any changes to the internal composition of a course will protect the right of students to complete the course within a normal timeframe and will not result in additional cost to students through a requirement to undertake additional units.
