  • Lakshman Alles is a Professor in the Faculty of Business. Prior to joining SLIIT, he was an Associate Professor and a former Head of the Department of Banking and Finance at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. He received his MBA and Ph.D. degrees in Finance from Washington State University, USA. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Sri Lanka, and a Fellow of FINSIA, the Securities Institute of Australia. He has held visiting appointments from time to time, at the International Monetary Fund, Washington D.C. and at Universities in Canada, USA, Ireland and Sri Lanka. He has served as a consultant to the Asian Development Bank and several Australian government agencies.
  • He has over forty publications to his credit in numerous refereed academic and industry journals.

Mr. Indy’s bold vision includes establishing a strong domestic presence in the USA, facilitating the transformation from China to Aurora. His innovative approach involves forging exclusive partnerships with retailers, creating bespoke brands tailored to their discerning customer base.

With an unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled quality, Mr. Indy is a firm believer in the digital economy. His passion for enhancing the customer experience led him to pioneer the use of cuttingedge 3D and augmented reality technologies in kitchen design, revolutionising the industry.
